Breathwork
for children
Your child will learn Breathwork and regulation exercises in a playful and easy way. Imagination exercises and guided breath journeys help your child to perceive and regulate their body and emotions.

Why Breathwork
We breathe approximately 20,000 times a day . Due to our modern lifestyle, many people breathe dysfunctionally, which can worsen certain symptoms and illnesses. Your breath is the only bodily function that happens automatically and that you can consciously control: a bridge between body and mind . Breathing and mental functions are closely intertwined.
[1] When you consciously perceive your breath, you become more present with yourself and feel how you are really doing. Slow breathing with fewer than ten breaths per minute changes the activity of the autonomic nervous system and increases heart rate variability.
[1] This is a measure of how flexibly your body can move between tension and relaxation. This has also been studied in everyday life: In a randomized controlled trial, five minutes of breathing exercises daily for one month improved mood and reduced anxiety. [2] Mood and breathing rate were improved more than by mindfulness meditation alone.
[2] Specific breathing exercises can be an anchor in moments of tension, anxiety, or panic: They act directly on your nervous system and can have a regulating effect. Breathwork is not therapy and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment; it is an important and valuable tool to aid regulation and relaxation.
